Green Again follows Hazel Fox, a young woman who has lived in isolation since the age of ten. Her home is an abandoned city ravaged by climate disaster, and stalked by a private security force hell-bent on eradicating or capturing Earth’s few survivors.
The story is an exploration of mental health and neurodiversity at the end of the world. This is a tale that needed to be told to show that not all heroes have it as easy as Rick Grimes from the Walking Dead or Katniss from The Hunger Games. At the end of the world, people with difficulties are still there, and their story still needs to be told.
Green Again has been with gifted editor, Ella Chappell, and is out on queries currently.
